ABOUT Pastor Jessie Still

Jessie serves as co-Senior Leader of the SOCV family. He loves coffee and all things sweet (especially his wife and two daughters!). This super-extrovert was once a very shy kid, and knows how to love and value every person.

He is gifted at speaking straight to the heart and committed to fostering a culture of love and encouragement.  His life vision is to be a friend of God and be part of raising up a supernatural, multi-generational, multi-ethnic spiritual family that influences our workplaces, neighborhood, city and state with the goodness of God and the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

Jessie is also an avid social networker: you can follow him on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. He even occasionally posts on his blog. His wife Erica is a Pediatrician, who has a big heart for rescuing those who are oppressed. She’s also an accomplished musician, strategist, and dessert chef, making them an unstoppable duo and a perfect match.

Jessie serves at SOCV as the Pastor of Worship, Teaching & Spiritual Formation.

ABOUT Pastor Kevin Shoemaker

Kevin also serves as co-Senior Leader of the SOCV family. He is a husband and father, who is a true family man with nine kids, 3 sons-in-law, and five grandkids (so far!).  He also enjoys traveling, hiking and coaching a local Homeschool Cross Country and Track program.

Kevin was previously the Senior Pastor at Capital City Vineyard Church, before it merged with Spirit of Christ in 2026.  He planted CCV in 2001, after working as an associate pastor for ten years at Lakeshore Vineyard in Holland, Michigan.

Kevin also serves as the Area Leader for all of the Vineyard USA churches in west Michigan.

At SOCV he serves as the Pastor of Administration & Outreach Pastor.
